LEADING A MULTIGENERATIONAL WORKFORCE – ONLINE COURSE.

FIVE GENERATIONS OF EMPLOYEES WORKING SIDE-BY-SIDE.

In this course, you’ll learn how to lead multi-generations at the same time. Examine the characteristics of each generation. Gain insight into leveraging your organization through leadership styles that speak to each generation for the best results. Learn what each generation has to offer, as well as exploring how each period mentors and guides the generation following.

For the first time in our history as a nation, we have five generations of employees working side-by-side. Having this many generations working together allows leaders to leverage skill sets across diverse groups of people to elevate their organizations to new and exciting heights. Additionally, this diversity affords previous generations to mentor new employees into the workforce’s fold and guide learning with their experience’s authenticity. There’s no hiding the fact that those folks have ‘been there, done that.’

However, there’s no shortage of challenges in guiding and leading this robust group of people. Each of these employees comes into the workforce with their influences and experiences. As a leader, you must remember these experiences shaped their life, their preferred method of being motivated, communication style, and worldview. When assembled, we can begin to see themes emerge in how each generation approaches work, expectations, and mindsets.

This course aims to educate you on what it takes to lead a multigenerational team or organization. You’ll learn how to combine different groups working toward the same goal.
